The Office of Student Conduct strives to foster a campus community that protects the
health, welfare, safety, property, and rights of all members. Staff members from
the Office of Student Conduct are available to assist students in understanding
and applying the West Virginia University
Student Conduct Code.

When students are involved in a student conduct matter, they will be provided information on the process, including an explanation of substantive and due process rights; the right to a fair hearing; the right to have an advisor/or attorney, when applicable; and, their right to appeal the outcome and sanction in each case.
